We’ll wander through streams, mountains, and dreamy beaches, searching for nocturnal wildlife like glowing phytoplankton, scorpions that glow under UV light, fireflies, nesting sea turtles (seasonal), crabs, raccoons, foxes, badgers, bats and birds—not to mention fascinating insects.

Walking under the moonlight, accompanied by the symphony of insects and animals, is a truly a one-of-a-kind experience for the senses.

Learn how each plant and animal species plays an essential role in the environment. Incredible birdwatching with a variety of nocturnal species, including owls and ghost birds. This loop trail also includes a short restful break at a serene beach away from light pollution to gaze up at the stars. This tour offers not only an outdoor adventure but also a deeper connection to the natural world and its incredible beauty.

This is a very easy 10-minute walk from the town plaza. 6 blocks from the bus station. Free and secure street parking available.

There is a small concrete platform overlooking the beach at the end of the street where your guide will be waiting for you.
